What this site stores on your device, what it deliberately doesn’t, and how to change your mind.

The short version
This site sets very little. At the moment there are no advertising or remarketing pixels on it, no social tracking, and nothing that follows you to other websites. What it does set is either necessary to make the site work, or optional and off until you say otherwise. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before it does.
Strictly necessary
These are set whether or not you consent, because without them the site cannot do its job. None of them are used to profile you or build an advertising picture of you.
| Purpose | Set by | Why it is necessary |
|---|---|---|
| Page delivery and security | Webflow, our hosting provider | Serves the pages, keeps sessions consistent and protects the site against abuse. |
| Form spam protection | Cloudflare Turnstile | Confirms a real person is sending the contact or referral form, so we do not have to put a CAPTCHA in front of you. |
| Your cookie choice | This site | Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so you are not asked again on every page. |
Optional: the booking calendar
Our Contact and booking pages can show a Calendly calendar, so you can pick a meeting time without leaving the site. Calendly is a third party and sets its own cookies, so it loads only if you accept. Until then, no request reaches Calendly at all.
If you decline, the calendar is replaced by a direct link to the same booking page on Calendly. You lose a click, and nothing else.
Optional: analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people actually find useful: how many visits a page gets, which links get followed, roughly where in the world visitors are. It tells us whether the writing is worth doing. It does not tell us who you are.
These cookies are set only if you accept. Decline and the tag never loads, and the site works exactly the same.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose and lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. About two years. |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Holds the session state for this specific site. About two years. |
Optional: marketing follow-up
We use Salesforce Account Engagement, also known as Pardot, to see which pages are viewed by people we have already been in touch with. It runs on our own domain, go.saassuccess.co.uk. If you have filled in a form on this site, or clicked a link in one of our emails, it connects your later visits to that contact, so we can follow up on what you looked at. If we have not been in touch, it records the visits without a name or email address attached.
These cookies are set only if you accept. Decline and the tag never loads, and the site works exactly the same.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose and lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| visitor_id1129712 and visitor_id1129712-hash | Account Engagement, on go.saassuccess.co.uk | Gives your browser a random identifier so repeat visits are linked together and, if you have been in touch, to your contact record. Kept until it expires or you clear your browser data. |
| lpv1129712 | Account Engagement, on go.saassuccess.co.uk | Marks that a page was viewed in the current visit so visits are not double counted. Kept until it expires or you clear your browser data. |
What this site does not use at the moment
- Advertising, remarketing or conversion pixels
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking
- Session recording or heatmap tools
- Any cookie whose purpose is to build a saleable profile of you
We do not sell or share personal information with anyone for advertising. If we ever add advertising, it would be optional, off until you accept, and described on this page before it starts.
Changing your mind
Select Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page. At the moment, Accept switches on all three optional things together (the booking calendar, analytics and marketing follow-up) and Decline switches them all off. Your choice is stored on your own device, so clearing your browser data resets it and you will be asked once more.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings, and most offer a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop the forms working. That is a limitation of how the web works, not a choice we have made.
How this fits with our Privacy Policy
This page covers what is stored on your device. What we do with information you send us (a form submission, a booking, an email) is covered in the Privacy Policy.
